I do a lot of hand sewing, but I’ve never ever been happy with a traditional metal thimble. I’d read about leather sewing thimbles, and I thought I’d see if I could find one somewhere on the wild and wonderful web. Sure enough a Google search led me to Nancy’s Art & Custom Creations. So I ordered her double set.
Now I’m off to see if they’ll keep my fingers happy….

Those look like a great idea. You just can’t “feel” what you are doing with a metal thimble.
